Fully ripened grapes of the Mazzon and Villa vineyard near Egna continue to ripen on the vine and are harvested as late vintage with a very high must weight. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks gives it a typical smell of lychee, roses and clove. A very full-bodied wine, that gains complexity by further ageing in the bottle.
